I’m Olana Brooks and I’m a UX designer who strives to implement and improve user delight. Fueled by my expansive career in customer service, I bring a sense of humor and comfort to my work with clients and teams, while working toward effective user-focused solutions.

I am a proud product of both retail and food service industry which has made me a quick thinker and a reliable teammate. As I got older, customer facing positions were not able to offer the upward mobility or opportunities to grow. UX was not a career that I though would be available to me, but in understanding more about the philosophy, I realized I had always had this mindset - to organize, simplify, and design for the person who would be most affected by the success of that system.

In addition to my UX career I spend my time renovating my family home in Upstate NY, taking pictures, cooking at home and obsessing over my cat, Moose.
